Street animal rescue
There are millions of abandoned dogs living a life of misery on the streets of Peru. They suffer immense physical and emotional pain from abuse, neglect, starvation and disease. Crusade has worked for years trying to help these animals, but our work only (scratches or touches) the surface of the problem.
Our work
Sterilization Campaigns
Cruzada has conducted seven major campaigns in southern Lima. We work in disadvantaged and precarious areas, often having to create improvised surgical units.
We also fund many other sterilization campaigns.
Rescue and Rehabilitation
We make every effort to restore the physical and emotional health of the dogs we rescue, ideally by finding them homes. These dogs suffer from the full range of diseases and disabilities that an animal living on the streets can have.
Adoptions
Cruzada for Life always strives to find a home for every rescued dog where they can finally live with the love and care they deserve.
Awareness about

For Cruzada, it is vital to make people aware of what it means to have a pet in the right conditions, thus providing them with the care, attention and affection they need.
